I suggest that you try the below methods to fix this issue.
Method 1:
If you have Google Desktop installed on your computer, I suggest that you uninstall the Google Desktop and check if you have the same issue.
Method 2:
Run Internet Explorer in No Add-on Mode.
To do this,
a.     Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools
b.     Click Internet Explorer (No Add-ons).
If this resolves the issue, follow these steps to isolate the browser add-on that is causing the issue:
a.     Click Tools, and then click Internet Options.
b.     Click the Programs tab, and then click Manage add-ons.
c.      Click an add-on in the Name list, and then click Disable.
d.     Repeat step c until you identify the add-on that is causing the issue.
If this resolves the issue, this could be caused by an adware installed as Add-on.
Method 3:
Clear cache data for Internet Explorer.
You can follow the below steps to accomplish this:
Open Internet Explorer 8.Click on Tools, Internet Options.In Delete Browsing History area, click Delete.
