Connecting to wireless network automatically
Currently i am using a Lenovo Y430 ideapad
I have manage to set up a network connection to my router.
In the options, i chose to connect to this network automatically.
However, the following start up of my notebook, the network mode changed back to "manual connect", instead of automatically connect.
What could be the possible reasons for the settings to have changed on its own?
I am currently the admin of this system (windows vista home premium)

Do you have any software running the wireless card?
I would turn it off and use Windows Zero Configuration.
It doesn’t do fancy pictures or connection icons but it is pretty rock solid.

Boot in Safe Mode:
- Open Run command as previously described
- Type MSConfig
- Click on Boot tab
- Tick Safe boot in Boot option
- Select Network
- Click Apply and OK
- Reboot your system
Your system will boot in Safe mode with Networking. You may now try and open Windows Store and should not see any errors.
