I Need to Speed Up My Computer: How to Fix

Cabnit file error: 1335

Hi i Recently Brought a electronic synthesizer
off ebay and it didnt come with a disk, so i went on to the manufactures site to obtain the instalation update with a .msi exstention.
when i double click on the install pakage it get's about half way through the istallation process before it comes to an abrupt halt and a message that states:
"the cabinet file'PCore.cab' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used.This could indicate a network error, an error from the CD ROM, or a problem with this package".
I've tried installing it multible times and re- downloading the file, also choosing a different patron to install it to aswell and destination folder.
Ive run updates for vista and also ran a registry fixer and then run the itsallation again but nothing,if
you could please help me it would be really great im not to sure as in what else i can do.
ps, i've also got in touch with the manufacture about this problem and they said that im the only person they have had with this problem so it must be somthing wrong at my end.

-      Were there any recent changes made on your computer?
-      Are you able to install other applications?

I would suggest you try the following methods to install and check if it helps.

Method 1:

a.    Try to install the program in
clean boot mode, where it uses a minimal set of drivers and startup programs.
b.    You need to follow the Step 7 mentioned in the article to restart computer in normal boot after the issue is resolved.

Method 2:

Try to do a flat installation.
a.    Download the package to your computer and
save it on your desktop.
b.    Double click the setup file saved on your desktop and try to install.

Method 3:
Unregister and re-register the Windows Installer
a.    Click Start, click
Run, type MSIEXEC /UNREGISTER, and then click OK.
Even if you do this correctly, it may look like nothing occurs.
b.    Click Start, click
Run, type MSIEXEC /REGSERVER, and then click OK.
Even if you do this correctly, it may look like nothing occurs, or you may briefly see an hourglass.
After you run this command, the operation is complete.
c.     Try to install the application.

Windows Recovery - Totally Fix All Errors including Cabnit file error: 1335

Click on the Start button on the Taskbar.
Type "System Restore" (without quotes) in the Search box and hit Enter or,
Click on System Restore (when you see System Restore pop up in the list of search results).
