--Sorry for double posting but I thought that this should be in the System Repair and Recovery and not in the game section.
 
I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit edition.
Just recently I have come across two programs, Virtual Villagers 4 and GIF Backup that will not load correctly due to this SHUNIMPL.DLL error code

After googling this .dll it seems many people are having it appear with various games and programs and not any one program seems to be the culprit but instead
seems to be something wrong with the Dynamic Library or within windows system files.
I have tried the following to fix this problem...
 
1.
Ran CCleaner, Uniblue registry booster and other forms of registry cleaners to see if this would fix the problem but it did not.
2.
Tried registering SHUNIMPL.DLL by using the regsvr32 command and 3rd party utilities and every tim get the message "cannot load into memory".
3.
I have tried sfc/scannow and the log states that SHUNIMPL.DLL does not match the original however it does not get fixed by sfc/scannow
4.
I have used a virtual machine with the windows 7 64bit ultimate edition and installed the same software and game on it and the two ran fine with no error messages so I know this error is a system error and has nothing to do with bad programming on the
game or software end
5.
I have tried copying SHUNIMPL.DLL from the working windows 7 64bit ultimate edition to my actual windows 7 64bit ultimate edition but this does not fix anything.
6 I tried to see if I could cause the same error message to appear on the virtual machine by deleting all traces of SHUNIMPL.DLL and still could not get the error message which tells me the problem is indirect with SHUNIMPL.DLL
7.
I have compared the SHUNIMPL.DLL from the virtual OS to my actual OS and this is what I get...

I used a little utility called Emsa DLL Register Tool to see the specifics with these files.
I have exhausted all my resources and have come to ask for some serious help with solving this problem.
I appreciate any and all advice just so long as you do not
tell me to re-install windows as this is not an option.
Technically I could live without fixing this problem as the two softwares that cause this error are two softwares I can live without but lets face it I cannot look the other way while I know I have a
problem.
